Averys Spain & Portugal Cellar Tasting - Wed 27th April

As wines from Portugal gain more recognition, and Spain continues to provide us with quality wines at very reasonable prices, the Iberian Peninsula is an increasingly interesting area to explore. In this tasting we will take you beyond the familiar fortified wines of Sherry and Port. We’ll be exploring exciting native grape varieties, unearthing different landscapes and explaining why, if given a ten-pound note to buy wine, we’d almost certainly be shopping in this region! Expect a variety of wines styles from sparkling to fortified - there’ll be something to suit every palate.
