From seven plots in Meursault, including Jobard’s prized ‘En la Barre’. Once bottled separately, he now includes it in his village Meursault to give it better balance. Warm, spicy peach fruit with hints of honey and blossom and a long, saline finish.

The Story Behind the Bottle
Fifth-generation Antoine Jobard took over the family’s 5-hectare estate from his father François on his retirement in 2013 and our Fine Wine team has been following him ever since. He still today produces a mere 2,000 cases a year, but with a new cellar being built in 2025, maybe that quantity will increase. Antoine has developed an increasingly mineral-driven, citrusy style, light on oak, with lees ageing, but no stirring, again to retain the citrus tension. His 2023 vintage is showing textbook Jobard energy and precision, allied to the generosity normally found in fine Meursault.
