Château Gloria 2022
Wine International wrote, “For many lovers of great Bordeaux, Saint-Julien represents the acme of perfection”. And this 94-95 point Cru Bourgeois is proving "a very fine wine" and "very well done" (James Suckling). Rich and deep, with creamy oak.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Story Behind the Bottle
Henri Martin, mayor of Saint-Julien, created Château Gloria in the late 1940s from vineyards he bought from the prestigious châteaux of Léoville Poyferré, Gruaud Larose and Saint Pierre. As a consequence, Château Gloria’s wines remain without their proper status, while each vintage they surpass many of the classified growths. After Henri's death in 1991, his son-in-law Jean-Louis Triaud has continued the family tradition of exemplary winemaking, receiving high marks each vintage from critics worldwide. James Suckling described it as having, "A linear and very fine wine with blackberry, blueberry and currant character. Hints of cedar and stone", while Wine Advocate called it "rich and fleshy". A wine that will benefit from cellaring.
