In 2010, Casa Silva made their first vintage of Cool Coast from its Paredones vineyard, “a new super-cool Chilean region” - Jancis Robinson MW. Since then, Cool Coast has become something of a Chilean icon and is widely regarded as Chile’s top Sauvignon Blanc. Paredones was a region pioneered by Casa Silva. Just 6km from the Pacific Ocean on Chile's Colchagua Coast, it benefits from cooling sea breezes that help to produce seriously fine, cool climate wines. An intense bouquet of fresh pineapple and lemon complemented by a subtle minerality. The palate is brisk and refreshing, dominated by citrus notes with crisp acidity.
