Château Tour Haut Labrit is made at a small property run by the Fontaneau family in the great value Entre-deux-Mers region. Their vineyards are superbly located in Moulon, on the slopes of the Dordogne River and directly opposite the prized Saint-Émilion appellation. For this versatile red, the team have added a touch of Cabernet Franc to their Merlot, resulting in a ripe and juicy wine with a lovely floral freshness. And it's from a fantastic vintage too. In the words of Jancis Robinson: "Bordeaux 2018 will be remembered as an exceptional year, with no shortage of outstanding wines from this extraordinary vintage". Remarkably easy-drinking, soft and supple despite its youth, this will pair perfectly with steak frites or cheeses.
