Last vintage this fabulous red scored a Best Value award and six Golds. This year it’s won another three. We’re very proud of this rich, smoky Shiraz from the tiny winemaking studio RedHeads in the Barossa, brimful of premium Koonunga fruit.

Nine Golds in two vintages for this terrific, handcrafted, Barossa and Clare Valley red from winemaking studio RedHeads. It’s made from grapes sourced from three great vineyards, picked out because yields there were so low and flavour correspondingly powerful. There’s dense, weighty flavour from Lyndoch’s black soils, the brighter fruit style from Rosedale to the west, while the third is from renowned Seppeltsfield, all hand picked. Jancis Robinson MW described RedHeads’ winemaking crew as “genius”, while Wine Advocate said their wine “has to be tasted to be believed”. A weighty, full-on Shiraz with a cloak of toasty spice oak seamlessly integrated with the lush blackberry. Masterful with lamb dishes, barbecued steak or a casserole.
