Marlborough is New Zealand’s premier region for brilliant Sauvignon Blanc. It makes wines that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the greatest Loire producers, yet the Kiwi versions tend to be a little more fruit forward and tropical. DK Sauvignon Blanc is named after Dave Knappstein, who comes from a long line of talented winemakers. His great grandfather Joseph was one of the founding fathers of the Australian wine industry, while his father was a winemaker at Penfolds. Now Dave works with old friend (and former flatmate) John Forrest at the acclaimed Forrest Estate. It’s here that he produced this exhilarating Sauvignon using fruit from Marlborough’s best vineyards. Enjoy its amazing vibrancy and freshness with fish, seafood and salads.
