We are delighted to be able to offer this special, rare bottling of Glenmorangie. 18 years old and matured in bourbon oak casks, a third is transferred for its last three years to Oloroso sherry barrels. That’s why this malt sings out with luscious nutty complexity, layers of rich fruit and creamy caramel. The distillery has been making fine malts since its foundation in 1843. It is thought, in fact, that brewing and distilling took place at the site, overlooking the Dornoch Firth, as far back as the Middle Ages. They take the water for distilling from a pure spring, rich in minerals, while top quality casks and unusually tall stills also contribute to the unique character of the Glenmorangie malts. A rare, beautifully presented bottling.
