The Story Behind the Bottle
We first tasted Invivo wines back in 2009 when one of our Wine Advisors mentioned his cousin, Tim Lightbourne, had started a wine company with best friend Rob Cameron. As a result, we were first to launch Invivo wines in the UK. Invivo has since taken the New Zealand wine scene by storm, winning ‘Best New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc’ and ‘Best International Sauvignon Blanc’ at the International Wine and Spirits Competition. Their Pinot Gris is certainly something special; lovely and fresh with vibrant aromas of pear fruit. It's full bodied with a touch of honey, but then finishes almost dry and intensely refreshing. Long and ripe, this Pinot Gris is just the ticket with chicken salad or spicy Asian dishes like stir fry or Thai green curry.
