Newcomer to our list, Land of Plenty refers to a mythical place, close to Marlborough, where the rivers run generously with Sauvignon Blanc. And, in essence, they do. This beautiful region on the north coast of New Zealand's South Island is ideal for this grape. No wonder it produces three quarters of the country's wine! With days filled with sunshine and cooling breezes from the Pacific Ocean nearby, it's heaven for grassy fresh, tropical fruit Sauvignon Blanc. Its vineyards are largely planted on an ancient riverbed, with soils that range from stony gravel to alluvial clay. All well suited to this grape. Enjoy the bright freshness and elegance of this Kiwi - on its own or with lighter dishes of fish, spicy crab cakes or a superfood salad.
