Laneway Vermentino 2021

Any special project wine from Jo Nash (of McPherson and bestselling Full Fifteen fame) is worth snapping up. And this refreshing Vermentino is no exception. As showstopping as the label suggests, it’s full of rich fruit with a good bite of citrus.

They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover or a wine by its label; but in the case of Laneway, we say do just that. The art was featured in a Melbourne laneway for 27 days and was admired by thousands of people before being painted over. Sensational and all the more beautiful because of its transiency – just like the wine inside. It's made using select parcels of grapes grown close to the Murray River. There long, sunny days and mild evenings deliver ripe, fruit-laden Vermentino. This 2021 is the perfect balance between rounded, rich stone fruits and a refreshing kick of citrus. Jo Nash has proven that this Italian grape can make marvellous wines in Australia too. Enjoy this fresh white as an aperitif or with creamy risottos.

"We love the wines Jo Nash turns out, and so do our customers. This is her fresh new Vermentino" Daniel Parrott
