This is a dazzling Marlborough Sauvignon from a hugely acclaimed, award winning winery. But even top estates occasionally have a vat or two surplus to requirements, be that due to a bumper harvest, a cancelled order, or the need to accommodate a new vintage. Either way, our Buyer Dan springs into action when such an opportunity arises. Under its normal label this super Sauvignon sells for a hefty premium. So to protect that position, we’re sworn to secrecy on the winery name. But if you’re a Kiwi wine fan, you may just recognise all those gooseberry and tropical fruit aromas and the lime, guava and passion fruit flavours. After all, there is an intensity and purity here that you only find among Marlborough’s world famous elite Sauvignons.
