If you adore high quality Aussie Shiraz, you will be over the moon with this highly awarded Adelaide Hills red. It’s from Marley Farm, who search out the best grapes from their extensive network of grower mates. In 2017, the team were particularly impressed by those from Karl Seppelt’s single vineyard in Adelaide Hills. The region is rare in Oz for having some elevation. Cooler than many, its reds are intense, with a lovely elegance. Add in the pedigree of the Seppelt family name (they’ve been leading the field for over 160 years) and no wonder this wine has won so many top gongs. Silky and ripe with mellow cranberry and pomegranate fruit, and dark chocolate spice, this is a fine red. And as the label suggests, it’s a winner with lamb!
