Cradled between snowy mountains and the expansive Southern Ocean, with the Otuwhero river running through, this fine estate boasts great Awatere Valley vineyards and wines that speak boldly of their grape. None more so than this dashing Sauvignon Blanc. Jeff Clarke is the winemaker, with years of experience at big guns Penfolds and Montana. Twice he's been awarded 'International White Winemaker of the Year', while critic Tim Atkin MW named him one of his Top Six winemakers worldwide. Picked in the cool early morning, fermented then left on fine lees for rounded creamy texture, this is a classy Kiwi Sauvignon. Gooseberry and passionfruit, nectarine and lime bound from the glass. A top vintage white that won't last long in your glass!
