The Story Behind the Bottle
The Gooseberry Bush is a pride and joy release from Bon Courage, one of Robertson’s most highly acclaimed wineries. It has a huge loyal following and shows whites of explosive fruity appeal are by no means the unique preserve of New Zealand! The Limited Edition however has even more bright, fresh appeal. The Bruwer family have been making wines in beautiful Robertson since 1921 and win accolades aplenty, both at home and abroad. We didn’t think this snappily fresh white could get any better, until we tried this special edition. Made using only their purest, ripest parcels of Sauvignon Blanc, it has been aged on fine lees for a delicious rounded complexity. Lip-smackingly good, it's one not to miss. Great solo and perfect with seafood.
