Villa Loosen from the slate strewn slopes of the dramatic Mosel is the perfect introduction to Riesling. For us, this encapsulates the delicate and graceful style of Mosel Riesling. The wine maintains the hallmarks of this great variety as well as displaying the characteristics of the region Mosel's steep, south-facing slopes create the perfect climate for Riesling, giving the vines ideal exposure to the low-lying, northern sun. The cool conditions of this northerly region also allow the grapes to ripen slowly, while retaining bright acidity. A classic off-dry German Riesling, this combines elegant citrus notes with Mosel minerality. The palate is crisp, juicy and fresh with a hint of tropical fruit and lime.
