The Garden Route is everything a great Chenin should be: crisp, fruity and irresistibly moreish. Named after a famously picturesque stretch of South Africa’s coastline, The Garden Route is a truly delightful Chenin Blanc. It's from the 2019 vintage, when drought conditions in the Cape resulted in a wine harvest that hit a record low. But it’s not all doom and gloom. When vines are made to struggle, they can’t yield as much fruit, but the grapes they do produce are packed with concentrated flavour. And that means you’re in for a treat when you pour your first glass; it’s like biting into a crisp, green apple. Refreshing and full of fruit, it's the ideal bottle to keep chilled to enjoy anytime. A good match with haloumi and vegetable kebabs.
