It's from one of Portugal’s top names, José Neiva Correia; a doyen of Portuguese wine with awards galore to his name. Having consulted for many of the country’s top cellars, he now has his own estate. There he combines generations of tradition with an inquisitive spirit undimmed by decades of experience. In his new Aluado Branco he combines mostly native Fernão Pires for its light lemony notes and grapey aroma, with a portion of rare-for-Portugal Marsanne for creamy roundness and peach fruit, all sourced from vineyards close to the coast. Lovely as a glass on its own, or served with seafood, salmon or risotto.
