The Story Behind the Bottle
Averys Cava Brut is made exclusively for us by Pago de Tharsys, a small, family owned estate with an award winning pedigree. It’s made in the traditional method, where the wine gets its fizz from a secondary fermentation in bottle. Normally, you have to pay a premium for these wines, but Cava is still fantastic value for money. Specially blended for Averys from classic Spanish Cava grapes (Parellada and Macabeo), this is lighter in style than Champagne with refreshing green apple and citrus flavours. With plenty of fruit and freshness, it’s perfect for big celebrations or simply when you want to toast the end of the week! Its clean, crisp mouthfeel makes it a delicious aperitif and party sparkler but it also pairs brilliantly with food.
