Here at Averys, we only put our name to something when it’s special. And our fine Barossa Valley Shiraz is certainly that. Australia’s premium Barossa is famed for its bold, spicy reds. In these rolling hills, where the climate mimics that of the Mediterranean, Shiraz is king. Or as wine critic James Halliday put it, “Barossa and Shiraz are best mates”. This family-owned, award-winning winery, run by husband-and-wife Bob and Sylvia Franchitto specialise in making top-shelf Shiraz. They barrel age their old-vine grapes for a smooth and silky mouthfeel and added cedar notes. This bottle delivers brilliant fruit concentration in every sip.
