Bendito Riesling 2025
Nicolas Bizzarri is the Trophy-winning winemaker at the family-owned Luis Felipe Edwards estate, in the beautiful Colchagua Valley. His Bendito Riesling is a little project of his own, inspired by his early years in Australia.
Bendito means ‘blessed’ and sums up the idyllic conditions of the vineyards that supply this wine’s high-quality grapes. They’re not easy to cultivate – lots of rocky ground and little soil, gorges and ravines – but the vines struggle on and produce fruit of great depth and intensity.
His Riesling has a perfect balance of sun-ripened, juicy, ripe, tropical fruit and zippy citrus freshness. A great glass on its own, but also a super match with spicy Asian dishes like Thai green curry or with seafood.
