Flavour Profile
The great secret of Champagne is that exceptional quality is not reserved for the famous names. Small family estates offer superb quality, excellent value and often a greater individuality with a closer connection to the people behind the bottle. It’s why we're delighted to champion Champagne Decelle Frères Brut – the classic fizz of Cyril and Frédéric Gyéjacquot, whose father Michel founded the estate with his brother Daniel in 1970, building up their vineyards across seven villages.
The brothers nurture the three traditional varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, plus unusually, a little Pinot Blanc. This Brut cuvée is made mainly from Pinot Noir, with a dash of Chardonnay, matured for a year on lees to add a biscuity complexity.
Expect a wealth of fresh peach, pear, floral and citrus flavours with fine, persistent bubbles. The perfect wine beverage to pop at your next celebration.
