The Story Behind the Bottle
Cristal is Louis Roederer’s iconic prestige cuvée, created only in the best vintages. The 2013 is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from grand cru vineyards, vinified partly in oak and aged on lees for extended depth. It opens with fine bubbles, citrus, hazelnut and brioche, underpinned by a chalky mineral edge. Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon’s precise winemaking lends clarity, elegance and structure. A graceful, long-lived Champagne that speaks of place and pedigree.
