Here’s the perfect wine for anyone who adores premium Aussie Shiraz and a decent bargain. It’s from a highly sought-after cellar within the beating heart of the Aussie wine industry – South Australia. Home to many of the country’s most well-known regions, it has an ideal climate for making bold, ripe, characterful reds, like this one. This hush hush cleanskin deal came about thanks to the unnamed cellar slipping our man Dan a word, telling him about a spare parcel of wine they had. Delighted to help, Dan snapped it up before anyone else could. A terrific, well priced Shiraz, delicious now but with the class and structure to age (if you can resist it!). Ideally decant early and pair with a roast red meats or a hearty, well-spiced casserole.
