Artist Blend is a signature release from Compass Box – the company that rewrote the rule book for Scotch Whisky. Their celebrated creations prove that blended whiskies can match – and even surpass – single malts for quality and character.
This blend of pure malt whiskies first released in 2011 is, in the makers’ own words “a tribute to Edinburgh and all of the painters and performers who call it home.” While many Compass Box releases – such as the intensely smoky Peat Monster or the ethereal pure-grain Hedonism – seek to emphasise a particular character of whisky, Artist Blend is the classic versatile ‘bartender's friend.’
Terrific neat, with a splash of water or on the rocks, it is also perfect for a Scotch Highball and other cocktails.
