Flavour Profile
Chambolle-Musigny is famed the world over for its gorgeous aromatics, delicacy and mineral finesse. This is a lovely example from Dujac Files & Père, the négociant label of the Seysses family.
It’s made with the same meticulous attention to detail as the estate wines – the renowned Domaine Dujac – with gentle handling in the cellar, restrained use of oak and a focus on purity of fruit.
The 2023 vintage reveals layers of ripe cherry, plum and raspberry, underscored by floral tones, subtle spice and chalky minerality. A graceful Burgundy, marrying richness and freshness, it will pair well with roast turkey, game or rich pork dishes. This should drink well in its youth yet reward a few years in the cellar.
