The Spirit
The famous Glenmorangie distillery was founded in 1843 on a site overlooking the Dornoch Firth, close to Tain. It's believed there's been brewing and distilling there as far back as the Middle Ages. It boasts one of the purest, most elegant single malts of the Highlands. New to the range is their Limited Edition ‘A Tale of’ series. This is the fifth release – a creation from whisky director Dr Bill Lumsden and his Master Blender, Gillian MacDonald. The aim was to create a luscious single malt with the creamy vanilla flavours usually found in Glenmorangie with an additional layer of indulgent creamy richness like a top ice-cream. A gorgeous blend of single malt aged in bourbon casks with whisky finished in high-vanillin barrels.
