Il Pino is made by Giorgia Brugnara, winemaker at the 150-year-old Concilio winery, and there’s nothing she doesn’t know about local speciality Pinot Grigio. Her classic rosato is just the sort of wine chic Italians choose to drink in the lakeside bars and restaurants. Lots of zesty crispness, along with an appealing berry-filled aroma and flavour, this delicate pink is elegant and refreshing on its own, and also an ideal match with seafood, a prawn or fennel risotto or salads.
