L’Expression de Saint-Joseph 2021
Saint-Joseph is one of the less well-known northern Rhône appellations, producing pure Syrah reds, just like Hermitage a little to the south. Although we can’t reveal exactly where this fine Syrah is made, you can be assured that the wine is from an exceptional vineyard, on the opposite side of the Rhône river to the legendary Hermitage Hill.
Elegant and medium-bodied, L’Expression de Saint-Joseph is brimming with wild black fruit, violets, peppery spice and subtle minerality. A fine red that’s already drinking well, enjoy it paired with roast lamb, venison stew or hard, aged cheese.
