Flavour Profile
Roussanne and Marsanne are the unsung hero grapes of the southern Rhône’s superb, characterful white wines. The Roussanne brings spicy pear fruit and voluptuous body, while Marsanne adds honeyed floral notes with a crisp citrusy edge. Very little of either is grown in Chile, but judging by 360° Roussanne Marsanne, that won't be the case for long.
The family-owned, seven-times Chilean Winery of the Year, Luis Felipe Edwards, is one of the leading cellars of the country, with the medals to prove it. They adopted the two varieties, planted a few rows and have since shown how well they shine in Chile.
From vineyards in coastal Colchagua, this white has delicious freshness thanks to the influence of cooling Pacific breezes and lovely bright orchard fruit. It’s a top choice with creamy chicken or pork dishes, stuffed savoury pancakes or fish pie.
