The Story Behind the Bottle
In such a short space of time, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc has become a classic. Our first Kiwi producer began to attend our annual Wine Festival in the 1980s and wowed all our customers, winning Wine of the Show every session. They were one of the first successes out there, along with friends down the road, Wairau River. Now we’ve a good handful of friends all over NZ making us world class wines. Kiwi Sauvignon, however, remains top of the wish list for many of us – it is so deliciously refreshing and appealing with its tropical fruit and herbaceous flavours. A perfect apéritif and picnic wine, and very versatile with food, from salads to spicy seafood like crab and chilli linguine or simple grilled fish. Nika Tiki will fit the bill.
