Rodolfo Sadler, affectionately known as Opi, is one of Argentina’s most exciting talents. He’s an easy going, affable man, with a hint of mischief in his eyes – yet he’s incredibly humble. When probed about the secret of crafting such exceptional wines (two of which are always in our Top 20!), he simply shrugged and said, “this is how my family has always made wine.” Typical Opi – seriously modest. And why ‘Opi’? The nickname comes from his childhood, when his little sister would follow him through the family vineyards, calling out ‘Opi, Opi’, as she couldn’t quite pronounce his name.
