Château Clinet lies high on the renowned plateau at the heart of Pomerol - instantly recognisable by its red shutters and beautiful roses. There, owner Ronan Laborde (known to his friends as 'Marathon Man' for coming 3rd at the Marathon du Médoc and finishing the NY Marathon in 2 hours 34) makes some of the best wines in the region, with a number of 100 point scores. His superb Ronan by Clinet range gives you a very affordable taste of the great wine, in this case a crisp white. The grapes are taken from some of the highest vineyards of Entre-Deux-Mers – Sauvignon Blanc with some Sémillon, cool fermented to capture all the bright fruit and elegance. Chill down and enjoy a glass on its own or with salads or simple white fish dishes.
