The finest parcels are sourced from vineyards in Mendocino County – a hotspot for terrific-tasting Cabernet – and bursts with ripe blackberry and black plum flavours. William adds a tiny portion of Clarksburg-grown Petite Syrah to enhance depth and intensity, while gentle oak ageing lends subtle vanilla, violet and cinnamon notes.
