The Wine
The Von Buhl estate was founded in 1849 and cemented its place in history when its wines were served at the opening of the Suez Canal. Based in the Mittelhaardt, they have some of the best-placed vineyards in the Pfalz region, with over 40% of them rated grand cru. With its striking glow-in-the-dark label and skull motif, the Bone Dry Riesling is striking in more ways than one. Bright and lively, with juicy tropical fruit and piercing lime freshness, it makes the perfect apéritif. Or try with lighter-flavoured dishes such as poached salmon, and allow the wine to take the starring role in your meal.
