The Wine
The Von Buhl estate was founded in 1849 and cemented its place in history when its wines were served at the opening of the Suez Canal. Based in the Mittelhaardt, they have some of the best-placed vineyards in the Pfalz region, with over 40% of them classified as grand cru. They’re great innovators too, as this highly enjoyable fizz shows. It’s the cellar’s semi-sparkling, alcohol-free alternative to their hugely popular Secco. It's aromatic, wonderfully fruity with fine, long-lasting bubbles. So good you’ll barely notice it’s alcohol free. But you’ll notice the bottle alright with its glow-in-the-dark skull motif and string tie. A wonderful centrepiece to any celebration.
