Flavour Profile
Velvety smooth and filled with oodles of juicy fruit, Wild Daisy is a delicious red from an Aussie winemaking legend.
We have been working with the great Andrew McPherson for the last 15 years, always impressed by the quality – and value – of his wines. His winery has been rated 4.5 Halliday Stars for many years and they pride themselves on being “Australia’s least well-known top 20 winery”. Andrew has a deserved reputation for being a great brilliant technical innovator and made wine all over the world before settling back in Australia. He was chief winemaker for many years but has now handed over that honour to Jo Nash.
Wild Daisy is as lively as its pretty label – Shiraz with a portion of Tempranillo, so you get the blackberry spice of Shiraz with the red berry notes of Tempranillo. It’s a top choice at a barbecue. Great solo too.
