The Beer
Rebellion Brewery was founded in 1993 by two friends, Tim Coombes and Mark Gloyens. They attended school together in Marlow at a time when the sweet malt aromas from the local brewery were a constant reminder that Marlow was an active brewing town. When the brewery closed its doors in 1987, Tim and Mark set out on a mission to revive Marlow's brewing tradition. And so Rebellion was born. Since then they have gone from strength to strength and their beers have a loyal following. The mineral-rich water of the Chiltern Hills is ideal for quality brewing. The Blonde combines crisp hoppiness and sweet malt notes. Chill and enjoy as a refreshing lager style, or at a room temperature as a more traditional ale.
