As everyone knows, 2020 had its struggles, but for grapegrowing in Gascony it was outstanding! Crafted by an award-winning winemaker who’s known in this area for making top-shelf Colombard, this is a citrusy-crisp white with fountains of flavour.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Story Behind the Bottle
Introducing a new white – Les Fontaines from star winemaker Vincent Debets in the Gascony region, southwest France. Colombard is the main white grape and one that will certainly appeal to Sauvignon lovers. Super grassy-fresh and lemony crisp, with an extra zip of peach and nectarine. Not shy of an award or two, Vincent Debets has an almost magical ability to draw out this grape’s best features. Helped, of course, in 2020 by the excellent vintage conditions, plus a tiny portion of Bordeaux-grown Sauvignon Blanc for extra zing. Consequently you’ll find it’s a Vin de France – a two region wine. A crisp, grassy, lemony white – terrific well chilled for ‘a glass and a chat’ occasion, yet elegant enough for a seafood supper or fennel risotto.
