Château Cheval Blanc is the Right Bank's answer to First Growth names like Lafite and Latour. Last vintage their white scored a near-perfect 98 points and 2019 is another 5-star vintage. Oak fermented and richly textured, it’s luscious and unique.

This is the mesmirising white wine from an exceptional estate, one of the icons of Bordeaux. With the highest possible distinction for a Saint-Emilion wine – Premier Grand Cru Classé ‘A’ – Cheval Blanc can easily be considered on a par with the First Growths of Bordeaux, names like Lafite, Latour and Margaux. This esteemed property consists of 39 hectares divided into 45 plots. Large for a Saint-Emilion, where the average is 7 hectares. For this firmly red wine region, the white Petit Cheval Blanc is a relatively new venture for the château, the Sémillon vines only mature enough to include a portion since 2018. Fermented and aged in large oak barrels with batonnage, the wine is elegant with a crisp mineral edge and long complex finish.
