The Wine
Averys Special Cuvée has been made for us by the superb Boizel Champagne house for more than 50 years. This exceptional family winery was established in 1834, and has since been passed down from generation to generation. Over the years, our own label blend has been selected by three different generations of the Avery family, but the house style has remained the same since the very first bottle. Blended from 30 different cru parcels of grapes, largely Pinot dominated and aged two years on lees, it's the perfect balance of elegance, richness and freshness. With classic biscuit aromas, elegant citrus and orchard fruits and a stream of fine, persistent bubbles, the only thing to distinguish it from Grande Marque Champagne is its price.
