The Story Behind the Bottle
Winemaker Dino Taschetta crafts many of our bestselling Sicilian wines. When we first met him, Dino was on a rescue mission: restoring his grandfather’s vineyard, abandoned after a devastating earthquake. Not one to sit back, Dino then launched another ambitious project called w/o – wines made without compromise. His first release, a Frappato red, was a huge hit … and it wasn’t long before this vibrant white followed. Made from organically grown and sustainably farmed Lucido grapes (Sicily’s signature white), it’s bottled in 100% recycled ‘Wild Glass’. Each bottle is unique, with subtle imperfections and variations in hue. w/o Lucido is elegant and fresh, with ripe peach and citrus notes. Chill down and enjoy with seafood or white meats.
